Dr. Mano graduated from the Medical Academy of Latvia in 2002. After working as a medical officer in Emergency & General Medicine in the UK, he moved to Australia in 2008. Initially working at Frankston hospital, he then moved to Gippsland to complete his postgraduate training in General Practice. He has since become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been practicing at the Central Clinic since 2012. Mano was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine by the Bond University.
Dr Sanka, originally from Melbourne, initially pursued a career as a physiotherapist before venturing into medicine. He completed his medical studies in the UK at the University of Warwick, followed by foundation training at the esteemed Oxford University Hospital. Returning to Australia, he underwent general practice training and achieved fellowships from the Royal College of General Practitioners.
During his general practice training, Sanka specialized in skin cancer medicine and completed advanced training in the field. He has undertaken various skin cancer courses, including the Skin Cancer College of Australasia's Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine, Certificate of Dermoscopy, and Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery. Proficient in both medical and surgical approaches to skin cancer management, Sanka is passionate about skin cancer prevention.
Dr Alex Roman has been a part of Central Clinic since 2020 and works extensively in skin cancer medicine. Services include full skin checks, mole mapping and a variety of procedural options for treatment which are undertaken in our Warragul location. High definition dermatoscopic photography is utilized to ensure a high standard of care.
Dr Roman is additionally completing his masters in skin cancer medicine and has an interest in melanoma. In 2023 he had treated approximately 1.5% of Victoria's melanomas
Dr Mike Inskip works at Warragul Skin Cancer Clinic every Monday and Thursday. He qualified from Manchester Medical School in the UK in 1987 and worked in general practice in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Since 2008 he has worked full time in primary care skin cancer medicine in Australia. He established Sun Patrol skin cancer clinics in Berwick and Officer and Icarus skin cancer clinic in Koo Wee Rup. He is highly proficient in skin cancer diagnosis using dermoscopy and in skin cancer surgery. Since 2008 he has diagnosed over 3000 basal cell carcinomas, over 1500 squamous cell carcinomas and over 800 melanomas.
Dr Richie Emmerson is a General Practitioner with special interests in Skin Cancer Medicine. Richie completed her medical degree in 2005 in the Philippines. She came to Australia in 2006 and joined the team at Central Clinic in 2012. She works and lives locally.
Roisin is a Clinical Dermal Therapist with a Bachelor in Health Science, prior to studying her degree at Victoria University, Roisin completed her Diploma in Beauty Therapy, where her passion was initially ignited for aesthetics and the skin. With over 20 years’ experience in the aesthetic industry, Roisin has a special interest in advanced skincare treatments, including skin peels, hydro – dermabrasion, LED light therapy and micro needling. She is dedicated to enhancing her patient’s natural beauty through professional treatments and the latest in aesthetic technology.
